Who we are?

1st Tuesday’s Spoken Word TV showcase is a community event that was created by Terrell Irving and Karwanna D of  Big Mouth Productions,which is now being organized by Life Skills Organization.We’ve put together a positive space for community engagement and culturial expression through the arts, right  here in the Bay View community,through our  community  platformsWe highlight local talent and bring awareness to local businesses in the community.Terrell and Karwanna together have over 15+ years of experience in producing television shows,events documentary shorts,PSA’s….etc)

We’ve done Spoken Word/Poetry Workshops and events for over 5 yrs+,and have curated and hosted red carpet poetry events in the Bayview and across the city of SF.We are also very well connected with the creative arts community in SF and the Bay Area.

1st Tuesday’s Spoken Word is also a television showcase,being put into rotation of local television stations,and online platforms highlighting the secret talent in the community beyond the communityShowing that we are more then just the stereo-types individuals have about us as a community.We are strong, talented, and creative,and now we have a place to showcase and highlight those qualities.Through the Life Skills Organization,Big Mouth Productions television program.We have also created a space for our production team and production program participants

 to capture and create content that will be used to highlight our talent,not  just  in the Bayview community, but the entire Bay Area,and beyond!!
